How we protect your data
Your analytics data stays your own. Here's a summary of how Go Insights handles storage, encryption, compliance, and access.
Data storage
Go Insights does not retain your analytics data permanently. Data is accessed only when needed for report generation. Graph images are temporarily stored for 7 days to enable historical viewing, then automatically deleted.
GDPR compliance
We offer EU-based data processing for organisations with GDPR requirements. There's no additional cost, just contact us to request this configuration for your account.
Account deletion
You have full control over your data and can delete your account at any time. On deletion, Go Insights:
- Revokes all access to connected Google Analytics accounts
- Removes your saved configuration data
- Retains only your email address, to prevent continuous trial reactivation
Encryption
We use SSL encryption for data in transit and encryption at rest for stored information. Every connection between your browser and our servers is secured using industry-standard protocols.
Infrastructure
Go Insights operates on Microsoft Azure, a cloud platform trusted by major organisations handling sensitive information, including government agencies.
